Cortona, Etruscan town rich in history and culture
The town of Cortona is located in easter Tuscany, next to Umbria and Trasimeno Lake. At the top of the hill that dominate "val di Chiana" Valley, Cortona is an ancient roman settlement which experienced its heyday at the time of the Etruscans. Cortona and Camucia, under the same municipality, are almost exactly between Florence and Rome, within 2 hours drive.
